Coastal cutthroat trout hatchery program
« on: February 29, 2008, 03:28:17 AM »

A couple of weeks ago we spent several hours filming Steve at the Fraser Valley Trout Hatchery spawning some coastal cutthroat trout. I've put together a ten minute video on the process. This is actually our March subscribers' video but we usually release one per year for public viewing. I've put this one up for all to view as it is quite informative.

Thanks Chris for assisting with the interviewing process.

Enjoy!

Thanks. That's the whole point of this video, to keep all age groups informed of what happens behind the scene so there is more appreciation on our fisheries. There will hopefully be similar videos on the steelhead hatchery program as well as the lake stocking programs that the Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC operates. If there is a particular topic that people are interested in, please do let me know and we'll see what can be done.
