Chilliwack River March 10th, 2008
« on: March 10, 2008, 11:58:22 AM »

Fished for 3 hours under ideal conditions water wise this morning but it rained the whole time so unsure how long it will stay in. Missed a fish of some sort but it only gave me one chance after stealing my roe.

Had a nice chat with Nicole just as I was leaving and she was confident she was going to find a fish today, we will look forward to her report later.

Did anyone get a fish today? Water was perfect at 7 with good colour around 3 feet.
Talked to a few anglers, heard of none, where are the March fish? One report I got as well apparently there was none at the Canal area either.

I was out from 11am-7pm yesterday, nothing to speak of on my line, and also no fish heard of from anyone I talked to... I fished from little's dyke down to the railway bridge.

I didn't even see a fish roll, it was like the river was dead... I am so cursed right now it's getting comical!

But it did look very fishy, 2.5 feet of vis or better throughout the day.

Cheers,
Nicole

Went out yesterday and water was good at Vedder Crossing area, thought I tapped one but not quite sure as I didnt really get much of a shake when I pulled back, maybe was a branch or something. Hopefully the jump in the water levels  (according to the graph its almost a foot higher since yesterday)  will bring up some March fish so I can maybe get one or two more this year. I don't think the fish like me.... they seem to stay far away from me except the really stupid ones, like the only one I caught this year ;D

I started out at the canal on Monday and I saw six fished hooked and landed. Two of them by Spey guys too! I had some bites but couldn't get any to commit outright to taking down the float.
