Changes in the fishing report access

We've made some changes today. The fishing report section can only be accessed by forum members that have made ten posts or more and subscribers. Guests and Newbies cannot post or read the reports.

hey I looks like I already have 15 so I doesn't matter.... probably to many fresh ones if you know what I mean..:)  the report page didn't load the first time so I'll try it again.

1) Your total post count is 15, so you already have access to the fishing report section.

2) "non sense" posts will be deleted and post count will be reset. The discussion is set up to accommodate all age groups, but not juveniles.

Good for one. ;)

Just to make it clear, if you have been a member who already have made ten posts or more, your access to the fishing report section remains unchanged. If you are a member who have not made any posts and want to access the fishing report section, you can either start contributing content or become a FWR subscriber which would grant you instant access.

The objective of this latest change is to let members who have been contributing over the years to be mutually benefited by others' contributions. This may also improve the quality of the fishing reports. We shall see.

There is a tall church across the street from the statue

with crosses, steeples, bells and a vast door that looks like

 a huge mousehole, perhaps from a Tom and Jerry cartoon,

 and written above the door is "Per L'Universo."

 Around five o'clock in the afternoon of my cover for

Trout Fishing in America, people gather in the park across

 the street from the church and they are hungry.

It's sandwich time for the poor.

But they cannot cross the street until the signal is given.

Then they all run across the street to the church and get

their sandwiches that are wrapped in newspaper.

I've been a lurker since 2005. I'm curious to hear whether this approach will achieve what you want it to achieve Rodney. I thought that advertising revenue was a direct result of site hits. Won't this limit a significant number of hits?

It would have been good to give us some warning as some of us would likely have contributed some fishing report related input but may have very little to contribute to other forum categories.

I guess this post brings my number to 2  :-\
