A while back someone here suggested I sign up for the Fishing Catalogue from Cabela's since there wasn't much gear in the regular catalogue-whoever it was Thanks it was a great idea.

Jut got this year's bathroom reading and man is it great!!!

More gear than you can shake a stick at including all manner of obscure junk spinners like Okuma, Pfleuger, Quantum and the like-always good for a laugh.

Then there's the rods made of carrots-more about this later.

I went to the new Cabellas store in Washington just off the I 5 Lacey exit. The Wow factor was incredible! I spent 2 hours their and it felt like 5 minutes, my wife had to drag me out! The store is the size of Walmart with a upstairs as well, with the dollar being what it is the prices are reasonable and are better than what you can get it on line for. We were told that the Cabellas fly line is made by Cortland and is half the price. To see all the fishing stuff under one roof almost made the sportsman show last month look like a joke! Check it out, it is really impressive store!
