Where can I find the regs. on Stave Lake . They do not have a listing in the 08 / 09  Freshwater Regulations Synopsis . Any input would be appreciated . I went there a few years ago and were slamming into Dolly Vardens  up at the pump station . Just wanted to see any updated info . on the lake .

When lakes such as Stave Lake are not listed in the table, it means they do not have specific regulations and anglers need to follow the regional regulations. In this case, Stave Lake is in Region 2, where the daily quota on trout and char is 4 fish, but only one can be over 50cm.

Was up there this afternoon and the water is about 100ft from the cement at the botom of the ramp.
Boat launch cannot be used and about a million deadhead stumps sticking up.
Water needs to come up a good 20-25ft.

Thankyou Rodney and Randofish for the update  . As for your input newsman  it's not the same as it was the last time I was there as per Randofish .  I  think it would of been more help if you new what you were talking about

I wish I had better news but the water is WAY low.
Been dying to get up there myself as I fish it alot and usually have a few trips under my belt by now.

Prvate lakes will usually have signs all over the place.

The May flying ant season off those old stumps can be mind blowing Just got to hit it at the right time. Water levels don't mean turd all in a canoe Not many private lakes here yet, but just keep voting the BC Liberals in and I'm sure they will oblige.

“NO FISHING” AREAS
Most waters in B.C. are open to fishing for some species 24 hours of the day, every day of the year.

There are five basic exceptions:

• “No fishing” areas (see Regional Tables);
• Within Ecological Reserves (this page);
• Within 23 m below the lower entrance to any fishway, canal, obstacle or leap;
• Within a 100 m radius of any government facility operated for counting, passing or rearing fish (e.g., fishway, fish hatchery, aeration system) unless otherwise designated; and
• Within National Parks unless a specific location is identified as being open (see “National Parks” on this page).

Not all “no fishing” areas are posted with signs. Make sure you read the Regional Regulations for the area in which you will be fishing. If you have any questions, call or write the local Fish and Wildlife Regional Office.

Some of the fish I caught there last year were full of ants when I cleaned them.
Water levels mean alot if you want to fish clearwater bay area.
Take you all day to paddle there 
Guess you could launch a canoe on the mud flats,but wouldn't be to keen on leaving my vehicle there.

Heading to the Stave in the morning , I was there today and the water is low but there is enough water to launch the boat . There were quite a few trailers in the lot so I'm off  . I will fill you in when I get back Rando .

I drove up there this morning and it is launchable finally but still low.
Lots of debris on the water in the area of the launch.
Whats the rest of the lake like?
Just have to be REAL careful in the channel to the lake.
Gonna try to head up tomorow and giver a try.
A report would be awsome and pm or email would be great also.
