Do you like sashimi? I just twist the heads off and peel the shell off. Then dip in wasabi and soya sauce.

raw prawns are good as well!!.

pull the sides of the head shell off
dust in flour and deep fry.

you can eat the feelers and rest of the head after deep frying

All you need is some butter and garlic, just fry them up fresh in a pan.
It is absolutely delicious, quick and easy

Is it safe to eat it raw as soon as you catch it? I was out on a charter in the strait and caught a lot of them. We ate a lot under the guides direction but after talking to my friend who test shellfish for bacteria... she said not to. The look on her face... she was scared for me. Still tasty raw with wasabi and soy sauce though...
