Silver Lake
« on: May 16, 2008, 08:34:12 PM »

Does any one know if it's just catch and release or is it fly fishing only and catch and release on solver lake? I forget and I might head out there tomorrow with the girl friend but she can only spin fish ( so far) just want to know if now is the time start a lesson. Also if anyone has an update or has been there since the snow went away that would be great. I herd there is some good sized bows and dollys in there as well as winters, but it's not a good idea to target them, but that would be a surprise on the 4wt.\

Thanks
Jesse

Was up that way on Sunday. We got turned around just before we hit the dirt road. I guess with all the snow pack coming down washouts were a concern. WOW that creek was moving !!!!!

Never fished the lake before but I have heard good things in the past.  If you do fish the lake make sure to handle the fish with extra care, as the lake is home to a few rare summer runs.
