hey chris

i only want to know when was the last time you went to chilliwack lake ?

got some questions :

1. is it a good picnic place ? and is there lots of picnic tables
2. is it busy on the weekend or so so ?

thanks

wenas
Usually very busy on the weekend, I saw a sign today while I was at the Chilliwack Hatchery that said campsite full. I have never checked out the picnic area etc..

Hey Chris,

Do you know what's happening above Wilson Road? Are they doing more than rebuilding the dyke?

As far as I know it is just for flood protection of the Wilson Road area homes. I believe it is being done in an environmentally friendly manner with fish habitat compensation involved.

Did you notice anything out of order?

Didn't stop to look in any detail, just driving up to Tamihi and back. That stretch is single lane controlled by signal lights presumably for the duration of the construction period.

Thanks.

Seems to be about time to thank Chris again for his efforts on our rivers, both in conservation and encouraging others to get out and fish! Never mind the reduced fuel consumption his reports provide!

Also noticed he is an advocate for highway safety...noticed a Chris Gadsen quote in the Hope newspaper last week about the accident on the Musicfest Friday....

Noticed he has an online sidekick these days....Everyday deserves a thanks too.
