Lafarge Lake..
« on: July 02, 2008, 04:11:19 PM »

Me and my friend are going to go fishing down there tomorrow, we have not been there before
and to add to that, we are very new to fishing
.. we are wondering what set up we should use, and what area would be the best for beginners!
Thanks!!

Drop by Riverside Fly and Tackle or Searun.  They'll hook you up.

Fishing is usually steady all day, but I generally catch most of my fishing during the evening, 5:00PM and on.

I like to fly fish with an olive micro leech.

flies beat anything on that lake, hands down....well the ones i use do at least. those illusive pellet trout can be hard to come by sometimes though ::)

gear = powerbait
fly = not telling :P

Silver spinners, and I've also had luck casting wedding bands.

Fly is probably a green wolly bugger or something else that looks like a pellet  ;D
