Change of upper Chilliwack River no fishing boundary

This change should be temporary until the hatchery collects all the summer chinook broodstocks that are needed.

Its been an Obvious very slow year on the Vedder for Springs and im glad their giving that area a break,   i hope they put up a sign in various languages so they have no excuses when they catch the usual suspects up there

I've had a good year on the Vedder. 4 springs between my bro and I in 3 trips.

You got lucky then robert...I am 4 trips 2 connections and one bonked and my dad has one jack for that same effort.  Very disappointing year for me.

so has the boundary just moved 100 meters down river from its current location?  Where exactly is the confluence they refer to?

This year seems to be a half decent year for me...I Have landed close to 20 springs in about 8 outings.

The Limit hole locals are not going to like the new regulation ;D

There are some nice slots below the limit hole. Using wool and small presentations may help.

Was out on patrol with the CO today and a number of people were fishing there. Apparently the signs that had been posted had been torn down down. The boundary markers are in (triangles).
We passed out the notice and tacked up somemore.

Excellent move to close the Limit Hole area. :)
There was little fishing going on there...mostly snagging of the worst kind...with people ripping through the pools every cast!. >:(

I say keep it closed year-round!
