Nice fish armytruck...

I have to say I was quite impressed with all the bar rods out there last sunday.

As more people post reports of bar rod caught fish, hopefully others decide to pick up the technique...

Great report, thanks!

Nice fish Armytruck! I know it makes a lot of sense that if you are fishing for 4 days you should be able to keep 4 daily limits. Unfortunately the regulations state you are only allowed a 2 day limit in your possession.

QUOTAS
For all game fish, there is a quota or limit on the
number of fish you may keep.
Refer to the Regional Chapters for Regional
Daily Catch Quotas and to the Regional Water-
Specific Tables for special quotas on some
individual waters.
Daily catch quota … the maximum number of
fish of a given species, group of species, or
size class that you may keep in one calendar
day.
Possession quota … no more than twice the
daily quota unless otherwise specified (see
definition, page 96).

Just a heads up for you, hate to see you get checked by the CO.

Good fishing!

Just wondering , how much weight did you use to get the spin and glo to the bottom of the River?   Also, what was the best leader distance from the weight to the swivel?  Thanks for the help!

I use an 18 oz. weight . For leader I use 24'' maybe a little bit longer .
