I thought things were awful today as I did not get a bite after putting in the most time on the water for one day this season.

Others had more success I hear. ;D ;D

No rain over night and fairly cool so the river should be Ok today. The forcast is for more snow tonight. ::)

The 11am report came and the reporter said the water is looking good, but it was another cold morning. Wind was holding off too. The reporter hooked one, but did not make it to the beach. ;D

Just got a call that the river clarity is the pits again, clay has fallen in at the ranger run.... 1 - 1.5 feet of visibility, down from 3-4 feet...

Just in time for the weekend... Joy!

I left the river at 3 so must of missed the change in visibility as it was good at that time but the rain and wind picked up. Snow in the forcast tonight.

Very strong winds now at 7:10 but rain has stopped.

two weeks ago there was lots of fish caught in the dirtier water so dont let clarity keep you home. only way to catch fish is to get out there. using scented bait/lures will of course highten your chances in dirtier water and dont walk past even shallow fishy looking water because they will tuck into shore very close alot of times.

im hoping it clears up some for sunday as im heading out with the spey and last time i was out was in the dirty water  :(

I disagree with Hook, everyone should stay home tomorrow and not take a chance on the river ;D

I second that  ;D  Will be much too windy tomorrow for a drift anyways, time to put the floats away and bring out the bottom bouncing gear!!!!  ;D ;D ;D
