Is that the Red Deer River?

Nice gold eye.

Also is that a walleye or a sauger.

I have caught goldeye before...actually quite fun on the fly.  Basically just like trout fishing but more fight and power due to there flat shape.

They're goldeye and walleye caught out of the North Saskatchewan River.

They're fun fish to catch on the fly but they're fight really does leave a little to be desired.
