Just got back from vedder,roads are bare and wet from surrey to 264th after that they are dry.No snow in the wack.A few flakes coming down thats it.

No he was right but in the last few minutes the snow you were getting West of us has now reached  Chilliwack. More shoveling ahead.

this cold snap should put the river back into shape, i've been hearing of some pretty bad conditions, 1-1.5ft of vis?

how much snow is sticking in the 'wack? and if anyone knows the freeway conditions towards Sumas (where it can get nasty) please post !!!

thinking of heading out tomorrow morning but wont if road conditions are bad.

  Boy Chris you guys got off lucky. We have had to shovel the driveway 3 times today and it is still coming down. Got around 15-20cm . Made for some tough hiking around the river. Here is a picture of the trail in.


And here is one from the river. The snow on the trees is all new as they where bare the other day.

Yah, hiking the river over here was tough, about 2 feet deep total now on rivers edge

well i guess i can look forward to seeing the river in February? ???

they are calling for rain on mon and tues. it would be nice to get back to the rain. :'(

Snowing hard once again, most likely will have about 6 more inches before the rain comes to wash it all away and make the river unfishable at the same time.

This sucks..... The push starts the day I leave for Mexico. Finally get back this Tuesday... guess what, suppose to rain like crazy and blow out the river  :'(  O well... at least I got sun-burned, something you guys are probably wishing you had right now  ;)

Snowing hard here in Maple Ridge as well. I hope the rain comes soon, like real soon.

i hope the river is back into shape by the 26th! other than that, only mother nature knows. That and the genious controlling global warming!
