Definately breathables. I have a top shelf set of neos that I'l never wear no matter how cold it gets.

Neos is diffinently warmer, but when every things is froze up, if is the nature way to tell you, may be you should stay home

breathables, even in super cold weather, only thing that got a little cold were my toes. never going back to neo's

breathable 100 % cant go wrong with them, just dress in layers if it a lil cooler then normal

after wearing neoprene for the first three years of my fishing experience and then switching to breathables for this last year, never going back not even in the cold weather. breathables are like wearing khaki pants and never getting brutally hot and sweaty.

I have both and in my experience, rivers near the Lower Rainland never warm up enough for me to consider using my breathables.  Especially considering most of my wading is done during salmon season which tends to be in the cooler months.

Id like breathables that last like neoprene or neoprene as comfortable as breathables.
Either way they both have a long way to go in design.
