Dead beaver

I was out at lickman yesterday and was just wondering if anyone else saw the dead beaver in the water. I was going to take a picture but my batteries were dead. Just thought it was odd, I have never seen a dead beaver in the water before. Wonder how it died.

Did it have anything attatched to it  ;D  What side of the river were you on also? My friend has been trapping back there, a few other places also.

I was on the parking lot side. I came down to the river right from the parking lot and was makeing my way towards the far side downriver and right before were there a mess of logs it was right there. And no there was nothing attached to it.
