Chilliwack River, February 1st 2009
« on: February 01, 2009, 12:09:48 PM »

The purchased barbless worked ok this morning as I decided to give them one more chance. ;D I was able to keep a hatchery a tad over 13 lbs on for close to 10 minutes before I beached it. Of course having that Maple Leaf logo helps too. ;D

Of course it has landed more fish than most people have seen. ;D ;D You should have seen seen the previous one. ::)

Then I guess you forgot it bounced a time or two on the asphalt after getting blown out of the Leaf Mobile. :-[

Or last year when you sat on its mid section and was unaware of it until I told you... I've never seen a rod that can bend in that manner without breaking. :o

Most of the time as I have mentioned before I like to fish below the Crossing. There usually is so much water to fish and you can walk the full lenght of the Vedder River on the left and right bank if you wish and have the energy.

I think he caught it in the water, by the shore, near some rocks, probably walking distance from his truck, there were some logs near by and some trees.

hope this helps.

Nice fish Chris. Congrats. Looks like the ground has some snow on it. Must be chilly out there today. Do we see a pink worm or just a worn out roe bag? Aren't you strictly fishing with roe?  ;D  This seems first time Chris posts a fish without a journal. Did you hurt your fingers in landing this fish?  ;D

I at times think people get tired of reading them, maybe later after I enjoy eating some of today's catch. ;D Saying that I wish more people would write them too.
