I heard Lafarge stocked 300 rainbow the day before yesterday, is that true?
Haven't heard that and it would surprise me  if they did, as the water temperature is still too warm. I was up at Buntzen Lake on Sunday and it was still about 18 to 19 degrees C. Lafarge would likely be warmer than Buntzen.

A week ago? Forget it, the 100+ fish must be all gone by now in Lafarge.  ;D

Just curious where you got the news, Rodney? I was looking up the Freshwater Society BC site yesterday and they still had June as the last stocked month for most lakes as in this link:http://www.gofishbc.com/r2.htm

The hatchery managers in Region 1 and 2 email me directly with stocking data so they can be available right away for readers, it's a project that this website has been involved with FFSBC since 2006. For people don't use the discussion forum frequently, they can see the stocking database updates in http://www.fishingwithrod.com/fishing_report/stocking.html

This particular stocking was not announced until this week because FFSBC staff were doing some sampling at these lakes.

only floating lines. and the basic chironies will work. Black/red rib, black/silver rib are probably my best producers. I like using size 14's personally.
