Sage 3106 Calcutta 250 for the rivers

Sage Ds2 4 wt and 20 dollar no name reel for the lakes.

Penn Slammer Penn 330GT for Sturgeon.

Well said on the 330!! That reel can hold a huge mess of line and the gears seem to be super strong; takes the big sturgie runs no problem

 High water condition: Sage4120B with Hardy  Silex reel

Med. flow condition: Sage 3113LB or MB with Hardy Silex or Grice &Young Avon Royal Supreme reel

Low & clear condition:  Sage 2106LB with J.W Young & Sons Trudex II 2550 reel

Spincasting: Loomis IM6 1263 with Ambassedeur 4500c for pinks

Flyfishing for  trout & salmons: Sage 796RPL with Hardy St.John reel and Sage 996RPL with Hardy Marquis Salmon 2

I have never seen a 3 3/4 on the buysell anywhere in fact......as far as money goes, i better start working weekends to pay for it

personally i want a 4.5 inch kingpin, and a 2106lb for small flows, a Kingfisher 4.5 bushing with 3106lb for med flows, and a 4 1/4" Talisman with a 3113lb for the bigger stuff.

Mine is sage 3116 and shimano curado...works well for any fish.

8' shimano technium and TLD 20

works great for all applications...150 lb line! never broke a fish off yet!

He made smaller fly fishing reels, but when it came to CP reels he made 4 up to 4 1/2. I believe anything below would be custom one of kind orders, he did make a 3 5/8 but these reels would be way north of $1000

I talked to a couple guys that both said for a while he was selling a package deal of 2 reels - one 4" + one 3 3/4" for a discounted price.  They said they bought them(one guy said it was a wedding gift from wife) so I assumed that it wasn't custom.  3 5/8" sounds  crazy
