Chilliwack River, April 17th 2009

well my dad and i were out swinging the big sticks today (spey) and had a couple tugs and one landed (my dad) was his first ever on the spey rod.  ;D it was a hatchery and being the first of the year it was kept.

nice! it was a slow day out there with visibility hindering things in the mid to lower. I fished the upper for a little bit but had no luck

Good job on the fish..... We were out today as well, missed one hit.
Vis up high was around 3 feet and down low was a meagre 8"-1' when we left at 6:30.

Should be beter tomorrow...
PS You don't need to place the hook in the tip of the nose when you take the pic  ;)

You left one behind for me when you left but I missed it twice so you are off the hook. ;D ;D ;D

Was it by any chance 5 runs down from the parking lot?
I had a tap, tap in the tailout that wouldnt come back.

Actually I forgot about the game till it was on channel surfing.....
I'm not feelin too great, wasnt even going to go out.
Was a good outing anyways, always good when with friends  ;)

Skunked so far this year only two weeks left to get things right.  >:(   Out to the flow tomorrow, hope the visibility is good mid river.
