Gary Point and Dyke/3 Rd were quiet this morning. Achieved nothing but losing 5 lures. Did okay on Delta side with 2 pinks landed and 1 large one lost at my feet. Thanks Rod for posting that article on spincasting for pinks. First year fishing for them and I feel like I've been missing out for the last 27 years of my life.

Was on the south dyke of Richmond tonight.  Slower than yesterday.
There were quite a few jumpers but no porposing schools.
I only managed one breif hookup.

OH...and it was busy.  very busy.

Fished the south arm near 3 rd, nothing caught but saw 3 hookups around 6 and then quiet.  One was landed and the others lost.  Managed one med sized pikeminnow though so not a total skunk, but there were quite a few jumpers and one hungry looking seal.  Tried with the fly rod for awhile but that didn't help much although there seems to be adequate room to cast without getting in the way of others which is good.

Do I just keep missing them or something?  I'm fishing around the mitchell island area, but for two days now, not a single fish in sight.  Was out from 6-7 both days.  I think I may be just missing the incoming tide?  Or is it just more heavy down south?

fished the high tide tonight on the lower mainstem fraser.  Had 4 hookups and only one landed but it was foul hooked. I saw about 6 landed in the 3 hours I was there.  Go get em.
