Yesterday i went to River road in Delta and tried the first spot by the fishery place.  Had many hits and hook ups but lost all :(  One boat about 100feet from shore was landing fish constantly.
Then I went to Dease Island park.  Had many hook ups, lost one really close to the shore.  But then i landed a nice female :) :)  the one I lost should have been at least 20lbs  ;)
Saw many fish jumping,  but most of them on the otherside of the river!

I was using spoons, buzbombs, and hoochi.

Good luck eveyone.

Out again this morning 0730-0830.  I fished the south dyke in Richmond.
Windy, rainy and surprisingly busy.
Fishing was ok.  Managed 4 hookups during the hour I was there.

Anywhere you can find a place to cast a line. Its timing it thats more important. Get there as the tide is coming in about an hour or two before peak.

They should be pretty much everywhere from Richmond to Mission now.
They've been moving through steady since Tuesday.

All jokes/whining aside, after experiencing good pink fishing for few seasons, it's not a big deal if I don't connect with a fish once awhile. :)

They seem to go in cycles. One day you'll be doing the catching while Nina does the cleaning and packing. ;D For your sanity I hope it's soon.

Got up real early and went out to south arm this am, along with a whole buncha you folks.  Fished from about 6:00 to 7:ish, up until the rain and driving wind showed up.  It made hucking a fly no fun at all.  Just like most have reported, this male hit the fly about 10-12' from shore.  At first I thought I snagged, then he took off and jumped.  So much fun   ;D

Since I'm new again to fishing, I really appreciate having a forum like this, thanks Rodney and all the helpful members.   ;)

Rodney hi .... Met in the last few weeks.... sportfishermen along the shore...who knew about your site............ but 2 I struck a conversation with... they have not heard about FWR................. THUS maybe ya could make a few photo -copies (or maybe ya have a bunch of cards made up already) of your site & hand them out to the many fishing at Gerry Pk & along Gilbert Rd to #3. Who knows how many extra people ya may inform ........... as you have an A-1 quality site here. Plus anyone who finds out about your site will then tell their friends about it ........SO the extra person may turn into 10 or more. Just a thought............. Taking a break from fishing today as I've done no exercise lately....ha waistline getting BIGGER. Trolling in a boat is not too physical............ Congrads to all yous posting telling about landing pinks (SPECIAL CONGRADS TO ALL YOU 1ST TIMERS WHO GOT YOUR 1ST PINK !!!) :)
