Was out last night as well for the incoming tide from Albion to Derby.  Saw some rises around Albion but nothing at Derby.  The NB was out with a net and they were getting a few.  One 20+ lbs silver one, we were  then  come here fishy.... !!

I checked the south arm at Garry Point and south end of #3rd yesterday AM & PM and again today at 7:00 AM.    No sign of pinks.   A few fishermen watching and waiting.

Lots of optimists around Richmond. It's too quite early to see the big masses of pink salmon moving into the Fraser River.

Something should happen this weekend as we get another big flood tide in the late afternoon.

Try at no 4 at the very end make right you will end up at the Dyke Area it's a park for unleashed dog...Many good spot..no people around you except for people walking there dog ..Good luck!!

Any hints or clues to where are the good spots to try for the Pinks... looking at taking my kids out this weekend...

Anywhere along the main channels of the Fraser River will produce pink salmon, or any migratory salmon actually. While any spot can produce fish, each one has a different timing on when fish would be passing by and biting. Your best approach would be to focus on the last two hours of the incoming tide, when salmon usually travel past the area. Each spot along the Fraser River has a different tide delay from the Vancouver tide chart, so it'd take a few times to get the timing right.

Ive been catching pinks on the fly at peg leg for a week now.I find they hold in slow water and are on thew move in fast water and tend not to be biting so fish the slack water and get your lure right in their face good fight on the fly rod.The pink this year have been quite small this year though 2-4 pounds are their jack pinks?
