fished the incoming tide yesterday afternoon and didn't see anything jump or roll on either side of the river (except for a few sturgeon and pikeminnow or trout)...I noticed while was wading into the water to cast out that the water is a heck of a lot colder than it was 2 weeks ago when I was last wading in the water to cast...and visibility is pretty good right now too...going to give it another go tonight

Went our for a few hours in Richmond and saw a few jumpers during incoming tide.  Saw a few others on the flow, but no fish were taken.

I haven’t had much luck since the first day, but did manage a large male.
it had tons of sea lice that almost ate threw his but.  a little disgusted, I had to let him go.

lots of sea lice on the pinks this year.
I thought pinks had an extra thick slime coat to protect them from parasites?

No its from the Agassiz Bridge on up to the Highwary 1 bridge in Hope. Hopefully as more pinks roll in and the chinooks thin out, the die hard bottom bouncers will start thinning out as well.

Just a reminder that chinook salmon retention will end tomorrow evening in both the tidal and non-tidal portions of the Fraser River, unless additional openings are announced tomorrow.

Does the bait ban also come in as well.

Not yet, usually bait ban will come in effect right after the September long weekend until the first weekend of October. I'm sure there will be a fishery notice coming out this week about that. I'll send an email to the resource manager tonight to see what's going on.

can someone tell me some spots at the south arm mouth of the river aswell????, I hear everyone talking about a "T10" marker. can someone tell me where this is? you can PM me if you like. Im planning a trip out there sometime this week for the first time. Ive been out in the river before but never as far out as sandheads. Im in a smaller boat (20ft wellcraft) and Im concerned about the weather ,huge tankers and tugs throwing a big wake out there being in a smaller boat. Ive heard the best time to go out there is high tide and low winds . So if you could give me tips that would be great!!! ;D
