Went down to the mouth of the Seymour this morning and saw the evidence of the slaughter.  Under the railway bridge the stripped carcasses of 6 cohos.  Someone had taken fillets then dumped the tail and backbones into the river.

how do you know it was only 1 person that caught all of those fish? and are we not allowed to clean the fish on the river and throw their carcasses back into the water? because that's usually what I do and I've been told that the salmon carcasses provide nutrients back into the system

Read the regs. It's illegal. Need to leave the head and tail on for identification and length measurements.
