Just got back from my first pink trip. Didn't catch any fish but saw about ten surface infront of us we fished the incoming tide. Another week before the numbers are big enough to make it worth while although if you hit it right you might get the odd one.

I went out for an hour this afternoon as well to catch the incoming tide. I didn't see ten, but I saw two and missed a fish, which was definitely a pink judging by the way it took the spoon.

Good to here. All I got to hit were pikeminnow but kept is entertained. Saw one fish was almost sure it was a spring as it was easily 20 pounds or more. They are coming

Not much visiblity so you might have some troubles flyfishing. I was worried about the spoons and the fish not being able to see them

When flyfishing the lower river, is it worth having a boat out to fish the entire width of the river, or are the fish generally in pretty tight to shore?
