I was fishing in a local back water recently, a place i often catch bass, and trout this time of year. I was a little dissapointed to catch nothing but northern pikeminnow. Large ones as well in fact most were in the 1 to 2 pound range. I feel if there is any species of fish i would like to see eradicated it is the NPN i have opened these guys up before and they feed excluslivley on salmon fry it seems, Bass on the other hand i believe are not such a threat. I dont know how others on this thread feel but I think it is a good idea to not relese these fish if caught there numbers are increasing faster than the food supply they prey on. just my opinion. It seems Rodney thinks these fish are worth the sport, so he may not agree, they fight poorly and are too prolific. Any Thoughts
