This has definately been a good season.  One of the best in the past several years.
I have caught about half of what you have on the vedder and 2 from a different system.
and there's still another 6 weeks of coho fishing!

I am most thankful for everything I learned watching some of the more experienced anglers out there on the river yesterday (despite the high number of jack asses). Smaller amount of roe, switched my hook from a 4 to a 2, little bit of peach wool, getting rid of the slack while drifting so I could see and react to their soft bites and fishing the hole near the bushes where there was cover.

All these things made for a much better afternoon then my morning. Don't get me wrong, I am happy about my Coho, but I am even happier learning techniques that will pay off with more successful fishing in the future.

44 coho :o.  I have only landed 3 jacks.

What the hell am I doing wrong?????????????

and I am not a newbie.  I am using good roe, or blades but no adults yet. I have not even seen any landed when i have been out.

How many times you been out?

Hmmm been home for a total of 4 days of fishing. In that time I've hooked 5 landed 1. (Maybe a total of 20 hrs on the river).
Landed a few springs as well and lost some HAWGS.
Also saw about 15 or so landed in the areas I was in in that number of days (Most were on spoons + small trout rods).
One day I must have watched 60 coho go by (all but 5 were hatch) and hooked 3 of them on blades (was sight fishing a tailout).
Cool to watch them grab your gear and not see any register on a bigger float. Once I went down to a 12 gm drennan and 3 spilt shot I could see every hit.
