New Count: 32 hatcherys 22 wild, For some reason only wild ones came to shore today :-\

Wow!!... :o...Thats alot of fish in one day..I'll be happy if I can land 3-4 in couple hrs of fishing...But going out this sunday..and maybe sat..to for a couple and hope to land some.Love the fight in coho's..and they look so good when fresh...

Awesome,thank you...thats where I was planning on going this weekind was up top near tamahi or up more.And for sure going for coho.Thats the only fish to go for this time of year and hopefully I land a few this time out,got all my roe and gear and all day on sunday.

 Got 2 more hatchery this morning, pretty slow though. Tons of coho in the hatchery.

My buddy has been fishing the Vedder for the last 3 days. So Far 8 taken home, and 23 let go in three days.

Finally go 2 hatchery last Wednesday. Fished upper river, it was high but visibility was good.  Saw many in the early morning, then they where gone in the afternoon.

Landed 2 more hatcherys this afternoon, 1 cromer and 1 tomato. Lost 2 right on shore :-[

Went up just above the tamahi bridge..the local hotspot was full.very full.so tried just above and below and didnt get anything in about 3 hrs..I'am I doing something wrong here?..I used wool..and short leader..and went in holes that looked great but nothing.And I see guys yanking out some while I was there..like a fair bit and on the forum as well..wish I could land some..Any tips would sure be great...but still nice to get out and try.
