#2 red Gami's, never ever had one bend on me.  But I was forced to buy some cheap corner store hooks the other day that cost me a coho.  STAY AWAY FROM LASER HOOKS......

i just started using the dne size 2 hooks. they are barb less but very effective. i lost all my coho this year most right after hook set except the one i was using the dne hooks with.not sure if its the hook or the hook setter tho :D :D  they did stay sharp for longer then other hooks i have used and did not bend at all

to be honest I have never seen or heard of a hook bending on a fish hooked in the mouth and that goes for even the biggest springs that we hooked on #2's.

I really like the Owners, as well as RVRFSHRS

gammys are the best because they stay sharp a lot longer than the rest of the hooks.

I had a Thompson steelhead in the 25lb+ almost spool me and when I cranked my drag tight the #1 Gami came back straight.

Owner Cutting Points are the best, but they are a bit pricey.

Red DNE's sizes 1/0, 1 and 2 work best for me.

my fly hooks have often but no so much the other hooks but it has happened. blade hooks bend on a larger fish on me at times. or sometimes a snagg of rocks too.

I use Gammies and have never had any problems with them.
Landed springs in the 30's on size 1s and 2s.

If you are using 6,8,10lb leaders and the hooks are bending/breaking before the leader, I'd suggest changing hook brands.

1) Gamy
2) Owner

Tried DNE's (barbless) this year and I hated them.  Not sure if it was their design that wasn't allowing for a solid buried hookset, or if the fish were spitting the hook.  After loosing 3 ho's in a row, I immediately switched back over to gamimy's and started landing fish again.
