HI All

Getting ready for a little camping adventure in the upper P.  Wondering if anyone has suggestions for fly patterns for November.  I plan to tie a few patterns to pass the days prior to my arrival and am open to suggestions.  At the moment, I was planning to tie some streamers, muddlers and egg patterns.

Care to share you magic fly pattern?

there is a bit of info on the Pitt River Lodges website though. I grew up in Pitt but never had the pleasure of fishing the upper portion of the river so i only know what i have read or heard about it from others

It will be my first time up there as well.  Four days of fishing and camping.  As for species, I hear Coho, Dollies & Rainbows are all around so I may try my luck at all three.

So far I have tied a few egg patterns, a bunch of muddlers, Kelsey's hope, christmas trees and some leech and wooly buggers.  Let me know if I am missing anything.

Dry fly fishing can be productive this time of year in areas of that system. Warm days when clarity is not an issue (which it often isn't barring heavy rainfall). Egg and flesh patterns for bows and dollies is extremely productive. The river produces the odd large rainbow, likely migrants from the lake.

the bull trout up there love intruder and monster leech patterns,as well as eggs this time of year
