A Nordic stampede
« on: November 19, 2009, 12:02:22 AM »

I posted this three years ago but the resolution of that video back then wasn't so good, so I decided to redo it this week at HD format.

How many do you see? :)

I tried to count but the movement of the camera made things difficult.  Definitely more than 100.  Those bucks have some nice point counts.

Who is that across from you?  Finally spotted them near the end of the clip.

I like those big bucks at 0:48, 1:13 and 1:24.  Very majestic!

We purposely moved the camera up and down to make the count more challenging of course. ;D Actually, I was just constantly shaking from the cold wind that day. :-\

Rod do you know what kind of deer those are?  I'm guessing red deer but not sure...

It's always amazing to me to see a big buck in the woods....feels like you are face to face with the king of the forest.
