Where to buy "BIG" Jensen eggs?
« on: December 08, 2009, 01:26:58 PM »

I'm looking for the giant size jensen eggs.  I was giving one by a fella on the river once and it work really well for steadhead.  I've been using the regular size eggs that they sell almost everywhere.  I'd like to get my hands on some of the big ones.  Has anyone come across any of these?

Thanks

--compleat angler makes various size single egg with tail called egg-ohz, Klus-Terz (clump of eggs various sizes joined together and Skid Roe ( sort of raspberry shape) various colours, also sells FishSticks lure enhancer cryogenic shrimp flavor and others that they will obsorb if not in a  bait ban area.

--Should be available at Army & Navy but also supplies most coastal stores with some products and they can all get any of these in .
--I like the variety of colours and sizes available

I got 1 jar of the magnum size jensen eggs remaining. Can't tell you where I bought it. It was so long ago but they still catch fish.

I just picked up 2 jars of size 1 cerise jenson eggs.  Not sure if they are the magnum but they are the biggest ones I have seen.  Home hardware In Kitimat is where I found them.  They are slightly smaller than the size of a dime I would say.

Magnums work great with a wisp of white or peach wool. Check around a few places might have some old stock. I just checked mine and have 12 jars of the magnums in pink and 4 in orange, just counted and I've got 57 unopened jars. :o

Holy smokes! I'm only at like 10 lol.   I bought some size 0's today. Fred' got them on order.  so if anyone else is looking for magnum size's check back at freds in about a week.   I also picked up my ticket for the boxing day derby and the fred's derby tickets today!

checked out the river for a few hours.. Nice water on the lower end.  maybe half a dozen anglers out. No hook ups though.

I found mine at hatch matchers today. They have orange, BC orange and cherise. They have about a dozen of each.

I will have magnum size eggs out this week.  Just in the process of making them and stocking up.  There will be two different sizes bigger than the ones I already sell.
