LOL - very good gents!  Yes, I've been float fishing for 7 seasons now and it rocks!  I like the Float Fishin Magician - so I can just call myself FFM - float or fly!  Nice idea even if you're just joking around Chromekings.  Seriously, I find float fishing much more easier on busy systems like the Vedder - not technically, but practically.  I've been pushed off too many times with the fly rod in hand, plus with gear you can fish runs where the fly just won't work.  Peole think fly fishing is harder than gear fishing.  I don't think it is.  It's just different.  Both are very effective methods IF you have the right conditions and you know what you're doing.  Anyway, don't worry - I've still got the fly rods ready to go for other systems like the Squish.

True - no roe for either Stratocastor or myself.  We landed a few hens - but they were all wild.  Stratocaster lost a nice "chromish" chum doe at the beach.  He was mentioning that we're getting a bit low on the roe.  Maybe I should switch up and drift flies... ;D

I managed to get 3 coho jacks this morning and was pleasantly surprised when I got this chrome beauty . 18 lb. Marble spring . Done fishing the vedder by 9am
