Thanks Spiznak, I really appreciate it....gonna go for a bit of a walk on Friday.  ;D  Do you recommend a starting point?

I was drifting dog roe for the most part.  I did catch some chums on purple jigs in the afternoon though.  Saturday I landed over 10 Springs and 5 Chums.  Sunday only like 5 Springs and 1 Chum.  It is funny how people go to the river and look for the piece of water closest to their car and start fishing.  Those same people can often be seen on these sites complaining about the crowds.  There is tons of good fishable water on the V if you move around a bit.  I think that secretly or sub-consciously some of these guys actually enjoy fishing in a huge crowd!   ;)

Stratocaster and I did OK today... ;)  Not sure what will happen after the rain, but hopefully more fish will move in next week...

Sure wish we could fish tomorrow.  Got some nice roe curing up.  I guess I should bring more than three bags next time eh?  Can't believe I used it all up today.

Yeah - a bit of a "carnage" shot, which is not really my kind of photo.  But cropping it out would have made for a silly photo IMHO.  Hey Stratocaster, too bad we can't make it out tomorrow indeed!  My roe is curing right now too.  The "secret sauce" always produces, but today was a bit out of control... ;D  Hey - it's been a while since we had a day like today.   :)
