Any reports from the Chehalis?
« on: January 08, 2010, 07:41:03 PM »

Just wondering if anyone has headed up that way and what the conditions have been like? Does anyone have a link to a water level station for the river, couldn't find it on BC Water levels.
Cheers
Nick

One other question - is the trail on east or west side of the bridge?

Hatchery side which would make that west. Unfortunately, the last high water really did a number on the trail and is not as easy to traverse, the markers are still up, but it braids often and before you know it your truly bushwhacking.  I was there a week and a bit ago, didn't see anything but some old coho lurking about, tight lines WS.

Thanks Winter Steel - a bit confused here - does that mean if you turn left off the Number 7 coming from Mission onto Morris Valley Road you should cross the bridge or not. The map I have make it look like the Hatchery is on the East Side of the river.
Many Thanks,
Nick

The hatchery is on the west side of the bridge.
