a good place to start bass fishing is at albert dycke park in abby yes there are not many big bass in there but  you can learn about bass ther after that try katzie sllough by grant narrows also will you be using a boat or shore fishin

Hey Noxcape, have you fished in the ponds beside the abby mission highway and bateman road in Abbotsford for bass. I have been told that they have bass but have had no luck.

i actuly have not tryed them yet ive alkso heard they are in there they woulsd be pretty new to that system and to me i dont want to catch dinks lol

Yes I have been on there. It seemed to disappear for a while. Last year was first year fishing for bass and I had alot of fun. I was catching lots at Albert Dyck but it's time to move onto something a little bigger lol ;D

well im getting the truck fixed thank god lol ill get you ou8t this year for some big bass lol there is alot out here to be had

What are some baits that i would need to start bass fishing and what sizes and colours would be best to use at Albert Dyck park

stickbaits like big bite baits stick trick sticks and top water frogs any colours will work

  Yep top water frogs especially if you are fishing the sloughs in the Pitt Meadows area.

Where would be a good place to get stickbaits and frogs from. i live in surrey.

I will let you know if Hatch Matchers has any. I know they do have some bass gear.

What color frogs and stickbaits should i get. Im a total newbie when it comes to bass so i know just what i read about them. What size hooks and weights and lenghts would be best to use. Thanks
