Alice Lake has not been stocked this year and I don't think it will be, but a hike up to Edith Lake from there should be worth it. Edith Lake can be fished from shore, but a float tube may get you away from other anglers, not that it gets crowded in the first place. If the mosquitos are as thick as previous years when we were there, they can be pretty vicious.

If time is not an issue, as I have told many others, head north to Whistler. We were there a few days ago and had a great time.

There are numerous other campsites in the area, stop in at the adventure center right on the highway they will have all the campsites listed plus maps and other info. Alice lake got 500 fish of catchable size this spring, but I would definately hike up to Edith as fishing pressure is light.

I was thinking of Salmon opportunities in the Squamish area. I remember that I fished the river in October for chinooks but I wonder if they are in the system right now.

Went through the area yesterday and the rivers a blown right out and will be for a while. Squamish mainstem flowing really high and no vis. Debris everywhere coming down. Mamquam is the same. That coupled with high freezing levels and it wont be fishable for a while.
