Blue Lake
« on: June 22, 2010, 10:38:33 AM »

Hey There,  anyone ever fished Blue Lake passed Boston Bar.  Might be heading there in the next few weeks with family and friends.  Any info would be appreciated.  Would be the flyrod for me and the spinning rig for the kids.  Thanks

I used to fish that lake when I was a kid, my dad used to take us up there almost every weekend during the summer. That being said the last time I was up there was about 15yrs ago and what I used as a kid was still working at that time. For dry fly fishing try small tomthumbs or Midges if your gonna troll try Black Doc Spratleys. Your kids will have a blast for spin casting try a float and worm combo or power bait, anyways have fun up there and tightlines.
