No unfortunately.  Rodney's too busy fishing (or trying to).   ;D ;D

Best way viewing on iphone for the forum is still through Safari.  Try it on a Blackberry and you'll appreciate how well Safari works.   ;)

Rodney since this forum is powered by Simplemachine 1.1.11.  You can enable Tapatalk and iPhone users can browse through forum section easier.

I too have been trying to access FWR from my Android phone but I keep getting an error message.

The message is:

Unable to load the 'wap2_above' template.

Looks like some file is missing.

My phone uses the Mozilla 5.0 browser.

Use the standard Android browser and it works fine. I run 2.2 Froyo on an HTC Desire.

I get this same error with by Blackberry browser. The Bolt browser works okay, but it tends to reboot my phone at random.

Two apps I enjoy using:'

Sunrise Sunset Lite by Kekoa Vincent
a free app. that tells me the time of sunrise and sunset.

tideApp by Atlantis Technology
a free app. that tells you the time of high and low tides.  This app. is kind of buggy.

I don't use these while fishing, of course, but they do help my plan my fishing day.

Firefox Mini works okay on Blackberry also, you might want to give that a try.   Opera has a mobile version that works with BB too but it sucks.

Rodney doesn't need to do anything with the site in order for access via smartphone. I have an iPhone myself and it works fine as I have the link saved in a folder but if you're too lazy to even do that, you can also create a mini App like link with an icon that makes it a 1 touch link to get onto FWR main page or any desired page on FWR.

Is society really becoming that lazy that we have to have an App for everything? ;)

It's not the lazy, it's the A) Speed and B) amount of data transfer.  I can see the site on my phone, but all the extra graphics and ad graphics (I don't mind them online as they generate Rod's income BUT darned if i'm paying for data usage for them!!).

I usually read on the puter, but when i'm in a line waiting or whatever, nice to pull out the phone and read posts - i'd like them to be from here, but i read forums on my phone thru the app.

I'd slam you about the lazy part of your post, but I'll wait for someone to write an app for that!  ;D
