Canucks were 10-10-0 at this time last year.
Its very early in the season. A season with high expectations, and a look at the playoffs.
I wonder though, if this is truly a lack of focus and looking too far down the road, as opposed to a system problem or some personality conflicts. Is AVs message wearing out? Is there locker room strife? Who knows.
Is it simply a matter of the new group not completely gelling?
At this point, I think its just typical ebbs and flows of a long season. The team is learning to play together, remembering how to win, what it takes to win consistently. The sense I get is the team thinks they are good just by showing up, given the media hype and the quality individual players that this team has. They can't win based on the names on the team.
8 new faces around the team full time. Inconsistent play, roster shuffles, injuries here and there etc. The feeling I get is the Nucks just don't have their sea legs yet. And again, just re-figuring out how to win.
