Was at the cabin (outflow of Adams) for the Labour day long weekend.Flume creek was lousy with socks. As well I fished Roderick Hague Brown and the mouth. The canyon was spotty for trout feeding on sockeye eggs but the park was just building good numbers of salmon.I did quite well on single egg patterns .The results were not as productive at the mouth although still an awesome experience.I think it may be unfishable in most of this area once it becomes choked with the run headed there. The abundance is something to see already as there were already many photo ops by tourists.Beware bears are big sockeye fishermen as well.
I only saw one big spring in the canyon. He was very coloured and 30plus pounds. My neighbours were out the week before and said a large run of them went up the lake, porpoising as they went.Going again Thanksgiving to see how it is then.Sorry no pics.
