hey Chris, did you discover the beer on a run close to Lickman? I was there before noon.
Did you notice a spawned out dead sockeye on the beach too?  Adipose fin was intact. A chilliwack lake's stock i guess?
No further down, I saw two dead sockeye too both clipped. :-X

Water condition looked great today. Whether Saturday will be good or not depends on how much rain falls tomorrow and how fast it affects the river.

I fished mid-river, left at dusk.  Water conditions were very good.  Just have to find where the fresh coho are and not the darker fish  :-\

Right now I'd be happy w/ any Coho, colored or not. They've been impossible for me to find :(  ...gonna hit it one more time and try some new areas.

I looked in the middle, upper and lower today. More fisherman than fish!  The water was really clear, and I only saw chums.

I'll agree with you on that, very clear water in spots. saw alot of half dead chum moving up the river and some tomato coho moving around two. hooked into two coho and lost both after a display of their acrobatics...few bites but nothing else.
Im off tuesday wednesday and may head up again...or possibly move on to different system. Didnt see anyone else around me land anything.

River up and a bit muddy but was improving when I looked at it 5 minutes ago. Visibility in the Lower close to a foot.

I was thinking the same thing, when I arrived at Keith Wilson Bridge and nobody was fishing there.

Now till mid December is the time a few of us locals really enjoy.  :) :)Water conditions can be iffy, depending on rain, but the best part is the solitude; somedays you see more eagles than anglers and always there is that intoxicating smell of last month’s salmon.  Generally, catching sucks but the fishing is always good with the anticipation of perhaps something late or even better, something early.
For me it’s the time to bring out the 2 hander and do some walking, a lot of looking, and try really hard to improve my casting :)

anyone take a look at the river today? Im guessing its been raining as heavy out there as it is here in vancouver.
Was hoping to head out one last time tomorrow but if the river is as high as it was over the weekend I may just stay home or try a different flow
