Went for one hour today to check it out near the toilet bowl. There was a few guys fishing there, did not see any fish caught. Did not see any fish in the spawning channel.  Will try again next week.

How was the water level?  Last few reports are low and clear, mind you it's always clear.  I'm hoping they've let some water out to bring it up.

I was there yesterday.   I didn't think it was low but the water clarity was good.  Same experience as Tumbleweed.    No fish in spawning channel but there were definitely some risers right in front of me - not sure if they were chums or coho's.  Not so much as a touch on the line for me.  A DFO guy came round doing a survey and, according to him, there are some chums in the system but not many.

Water did not look low to me. Very clear but I think it may always be like that there.

Thanks for the replies.  I'm looking forward to fishing Stave, well sort of... anyone know if there will be a shuttle service to the west side?
