Both convenient to where I live, give good advice etc.
With these, or any other, it is good if you get to know some of the staff. If one of the more knowledgable guys knows you, you will get top notch service and advice.

Best Tackle shop would be freds Tackle. Best looking, vast product, and overal layout.

But if your looking for the best customer service, approach and helpfulness I would have to say it all depends on the individual you come across in the store. Some of the employees of some tackle store are as clueless as some of the people coming in to pick up there fishing lisence for the first time.

West Coast Tackle  - Bonny and Brian go out of their way to get you something if they don't have it in stock.
Sea-Run - Selection is great.  Staff pretty friendly.

ive been to all the shops in the lower mainland and valley.

Hubs was my families shop for 15 years while roger had it, great prices and service...I wont step in there now with the new owner.
I used to work for reaction and they are a good bunch of guys.
i dont go into freds much as i dont like some of the staff or the prices. Berrys is decent  they have knowledgeable staff and a good selection,
Bonnie and brian at west coast tackle have been good to us over the years. we have had probably 20 rods built thru them and always fast an good service. Highwater is a good shop if your over by the cap too.
been into michael and young a few times, the shop is nice and good selection...prices are much higher than other shops i have found.

Gary at riverside is a good guy and hes very helpful. Searun is a nice shop, I dont stop in often but the guys there are good.

I stay away from wholesale...no good staff and prices are higher on many things than local shops.

I go into army and navy lots, a couple of the staff have good knowledge and selection and prices are pretty good.

Being shopping at West Coast Tackle before Brian & Bonnie owned it. I believe Gerry Scott had for long time. Brian built some really nice rods for me over the years. Love they service.

Berrys is #1.  They have knowledgeable staff and lots of great products.
Nikka is my #2.  Although they don't have the most river fishing tackle they are a great bunch of guys.
Riverside and Freds are tied for my #3.  Garry at riverside is an awesome guy and is very knowledgeable.  As for Freds there close to one of my favorite flows.

HWT....hands down the best tackle shop in the LML!!  More often then not, there are great debates and lots of fish chatter in there. You go in there hoping to get something quick and leave 2-3 hours later. I will stop shopping there, if they start carrying Cleardrift floats !

Yeah, Highwater is great.  Searun is good to, but I usually go to Highwater.
