 wicked thread, cant wait to get out on the water and put this knowalge to use. i have heard steelhead love them as well,  any truth to this? thanks to all who contribute...

steelies sure do love blades in their own time and place like anything else. I would say the real blade whores are Coho though because they just cant seem to resist them if fished properly.

I like using blades in shallower runs for steelies as they go berzerk when they hit them  ;D

--I use a "tumbler" trade name by compleat angler..
--It uses two blades back to back concave out...
--In slow water the blade will roll or tumble on the bottom.
--It will also wobble and spin... as the two blades are different size.. it will spin one way then the other when trolled or in faster water or retrieve.

-Originally intended for rivers comes in different sizes and colours.. I have been using it for trolling behind a small flasher... the spin and different size blades also causes a wobble.
