Most of the shakes seen in that video can actually be eliminated by a shoulder mount that creates a three-way support and some extra weight below the camera for counter balance. The cause of it was probably the big microphone that I have mounted above the camera. The mic is not that heavy but it throws the balance off. Merlin Steadicam is an expensive gadget to solve this problem, it is more applicable for creating a flow-like shot when the camera moves with the moving subject. I've been interested in getting one actually, but at $800 ~ $900, I will wait for a bit longer before I buy another toy... uh, tool.
