Aguaseal...stays pliable.

also the leak is on a tear on the boot part of the neoprene wader. so much larger then a pinhole.

would applying the aquaseal and then using duct tape (on the inside) be a solution? or should i try to aquaseal some sort of fabric to the tear?

sew it up first, then aquaseal, and a patch to reinforce.

Definitely Aquaseal - worked for me on a hole slightly larger than a pinhole - but not as big as a tear.

I fix everything like that with aqua seal. It is a great product. With tears sew then aqua seal over it.

ive had aquaseal heal up a slit about 3/4 inches long with no problems

Where can you buy Aquaseal? I fell last week and scraped the knee area of my waders. No hole but has a deep scratch and see through the top layer of fabric. So I'd like to seal it before it tears.

I also saw Aquaseal to Wal Mart two weeks ago.  About $7-8 per tube IIRC (similar size as the Seal All tube).
