Rained most of the day.  By mid afternoon it starting to colour up pretty good.  Left at around 5pm and it was about 2-4ft vis above allison.  Stopped by the crossing to have a peek, vis was 0-6"

Best day yet of the year for me, water was mint for most of the day but as P said pretty poor vis by the end of the day. On a side note, 20+ fish taken from KWB on Tuesday, seems a fresh push of fish has come in. That's why there were 15 or so cars there when I drove by this morning.  :D

We left around 11:00 and it was still looking good.

The rain was on and off when we were there.

My favorite conditions this morning, river on the rise, maybe a foot of visibility, a perfect cloudy so the fish arent spooky, and they start moving out of the canal up river, and enough rain to keep the lightweights off the river, oh and of course catching a nice Steelie in the first hr out.

Ha...yes you are speaking my language! Ugly weather and rising water pushing the steel out of the canal. ;D

for sure, less of a gauntlet and better chance of them making it to their destination or onto my hook.  ;D
