No rain should be OK in the AM as fairly cool, snow level down.

How were conditions today?  Cold I would imagine.  Might head out that way in the am.  Thanks for the reports!

Just chatting to Dion who's sitting by the river right now. River condition is "good. Slightly coloured with about 1.5ft of visibility. Lower than normally I'd say."

I got out for a couple of hours late afternoon. Conditions were very good at dark, missed a fish of some sorts, twice, must try to get an earlier start in the AM. ::)

Was out yesterday for the first time this season . Lower river looked pretty good . Had two on , one for a good ten minutes but could not land it due to no beach . It was hooked at the top end of an embankment , went down stream , followed as far as I could , then all I could do was hold on and hope to get it back upstream to where I was standing . But no luck on that , hook finally bent open .
Saw one other pulled out .
Water was still a bit high but clarity was good .
Cold snap for the next few days should drop it to a nice level .

A bit of snow on the ground to slip on today.

River was in primo shape today. I thought the little bit of snow would keep most anglers at home but there were quite a few out there on the flow. Beauty day, no wind, warm and a few steelies around.

Your'e right there Chris, and more to come (Pete B, Ken P).  But what I see are more young bucks that are fast and keen and cover water like you and I did 40 years ago.   Crowded yes but still the best steelhead river around :)
